About the Project



Created a complete stylized character system including exaggerated anatomy sculpt and performance sportswear using ZBrush for character modeling, CLO3D for pattern-based garment design, Substance Painter for stylized materials, and Unreal Engine for physics integration. This technical study focused on adapting athletic wear principles to fantastical proportions while maintaining functionality.

"The CLO3D-to-Unreal workflow enabled dynamic cloth simulation on unconventional anatomy, while Substance Painter's procedural materials maintained visual coherence across 200% scale variations - proving stylized sportswear can retain technical authenticity."

Key innovations included anatomically-driven pattern engineering in CLO3D that responded to exaggerated movement ranges, hybrid material workflows in Substance combining realistic textile properties with stylized wear effects, and Unreal's physics system for testing garment behavior during extreme animations. The character sculpt directly informed garment patterning, creating a cohesive visual language.
